米国の結婚率が過去120年間で最低レベルに落ち込んだことが研究結果で明らかになった。結婚率は1980年代から徐々に低下し、この10年間は横ばいだったという。
結婚率の低下が社会、経済に与える影響は、世帯構成から出生率にまで及ぶと、専門家らは指摘している。
米疾病対策センター（ＣＤＣ）の付属機関、国立保健統計センターが29日公表した研究結果によると、完全なデータがある最新年の2018年に発行された結婚証明書は、米国の成人1000人当たりわずか6.5組だった。
1000人当たり約７組が結婚していた09～17年は比較的安定していたが、・・・
